What is Olympiad examination?

Olympiad examinations at school level are competitive examination, based on the school syllabus, which are conducted through various independent organization. These exams give exposure to students about the competition and make them ready to face any competitive challenge that would be thrown upon them in the future.

Importance of Olympiad examination

Olympiad Examinations help to identify a child's capability and assessment of his/her real potential in competing in today's world. They also bring out the areas needing attention so that proper orientation can be given in areas lacking proficiency.       9. Coordinate Plane - Gaining the ability to plot points, interpret graphs, and understand the relationship between x and y coordinates.

      1. Analogy and Classification -  Identifying similarities between different things, while classification involves organising items 
      2. Mirror and Water Image - Exploring how objects appear reversed in reflections, with differences in orientation and symmetry.
      3. Direction Sense Test - Acquiring the ability to understand and interpret directions, map reading, and spatial orientation skills.
      4. Ranking Test - Developing the ability to order items based on certain criteria or attributes, evaluating comparative skills.
      5. Puzzle Test (Verbal) - Gaining the problem-solving skills, logical thinking, spatial reasoning, and pattern recognition abilities in a concise format.
      6. Coding-Decoding - Learning to convert information into a format for transmission and vice versa.
      7. Venn Diagram - Exploring how to illustrate relationships between sets, showing commonalities, differences, and intersections among them.
      8. Series -  Learning  pattern identification and prediction in sequences of numbers or elements.
      9. Blood Relations - Understanding familial relationships and connections to solve problems.
      10. Figure Matrix -  learning to analyse patterns and relationships in geometric shapes and figures.
      11. Mathematical Operations - applying arithmetic operations to solve complex numerical problems and patterns.
      12. Alphabet Test - Gaining the knowledge to find patterns and relationships among letters in sequences and codes.
      13. Cubes and Dice -  Understanding spatial relationships and face patterns on three-dimensional shapes.
