Robot Mechanical Summer Camp

Course Description

Robot Mechanical Summer Camp

In this course, you are going to build a four-wheel-drive battery-powered robot that can be controlled by a mobile app and also learn about controlling different actuators and making your robot ready for the robot wars.

Here the students learn about the various electronic and mechanical concepts such as types of batteries and motors and their specifications, Basic engineering drawing, Types of Wireless communication modules and their frequencies, Introduction to transistors, and H - bridge. After completion, students are equipped with enough knowledge to design and build a racing robot.

      1. Introduction and Parts of the Robot - Basics of Robot parts and their applications
      2. Battery Specifications and types - Battery types and specifications/ Ampere hour/ discharge capacity/ Comparison and selection of appropriate battery

      3. Motor Specifications and types - DC geared motor types and specification/ RPM/ Torque/ Servo motor types and specifications

      4. Gears and Wheels - Gears - types and working/ Wheel - types and specifications

      5. Introduction to Engineering drawing - Introduction to Engineering drawing,  Design aspects for various types of objects including different robots
